We determined early on that we wanted to be a small breeder focused on quality, not quantity, and to provide the best service to our adopting families. We have been successful in our mission. Because of our success we have not been able to fill all the requests from many families who have noticed the difference in us and our doodles.

We believe that all breeding parents and puppies must be raised in a home enviroment and not in a kennel to insure that all our doodles are properly loved, cared for, and socialized, producing the best temperament labradoodles possible. Because we can only provide this level of care in our home for a limited number of our own doodles, and the overwhelming requests from families for one of our doodles, we have found a solution allowing us to produce a few more doodles each year for special families.
We have incorporated guardian homes into our breeding program. We have three families who care for 2 of our stud males and two females. These doodles are owned or co-owned by Doo South and placed in these loving homes where they can have the same level of love and care, socialization, and health testing that we provide in our own home. We use these breeding doodles until they are 6 years of age, when they become the permanent family members of these families. We control all aspects of the breeding, and vet care for these doodles.
